When Luke contacted me to ask if I was free to photograph his wedding which as taking place in 10 days time I thought wow you’re leaving it late but then he explained it was for BBC3s Don’t Tell The Bride and he had been given 3 weeks to plan the entire wedding. At first I thought someone was pulling my leg. Don’t Tell The Bride! I mean I know it’s an actual tv show but to get a call to ask if I’d be a photographer for one of the shows weddings seemed like a wind up. Then when Luke announced it was to be held at Donington Park Racing Circuit outdoors on the Melbourne Loop where Jess, his bride to be, would arrive with a Harley Davidson procession and because she was a vet the wedding was safari themed I was even more convinced it was a wind up. Anyone who know me knows I’m mad about motorbike racing and love animals. This seemed like a bucket list wedding to good to be true. But no it was true and it was one of the most fun weddings ever for lovely lovely people and totally tres exciting to have been part of the whole shindig. EPIC!!!!
